P.S.

In addition to prayers for Steve's Boeing interview, we need a couple more.

Steve's dad just found out that he needs to have surgery for prostate cancer on Valentine's Day. And this morning I found out that Steve's grandmother (his dad's mother) passed away in her sleep last night. (Steve isn't home from work yet, I'll have to tell him when he gets home.)

So.

If you could add Steve's family, especially his father and grandfather, to your prayers, we would really appreciate it. It's been a rough 24 hours for the Kortans.

  • Thanks Ellen and Tara! We just got back from Grandma's funeral. All seven of her children, most of her grandchildren, and most of her great-grandchildren were there, I know that was a great comfort to Grandpa. And it was nice for the family to be together to remember her--she loved a party and everyone knew she was there in spirit.

We would really appreciate your continued prayers for the family, especially for Grandpa Kortan and for Steve's parents as they prepare for Larry's surgery. Thank you!

  • Hey any word on the housing/job situation yet? We are praying for your family to move here SOON!

  • No word from Boeing yet, and we don't even know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. We should know by the end of the month, I think.

As for the house situation, we showed it to two different realtors on Monday, and one of them might have a client who could be interested, but since we haven't heard from them yet, I'm not going to hold my breath.

    Thanks for checking, though!
