I Wish I Had Her Hair: Top 8 Enviable Tresses

I'm having a bad hair day. And of course, today was the day I chose to go to the base to get my military ID renewed. And of course it took literally 10 times longer than it was supposed to. So my already unruly hair was staging an outright revolt by the time my photo was taken. And as a bonus, my bad hair day is now an official document.

It's days like this that I wish I could trade hair with one of these ladies:

1.) Catherine Zeta Jones

2.) Portia de Rossi

3.) Salma Hayek

4.) Brooke Shields

5.) Marcia Cross

6.) Kristin Davis

7.) Debra Messing

8.) Kristen Chenoweth

Are you seeing a theme here? It doesn't matter what color it is, I just like long, shiny, wavy/curly, girly-girl hair.

But today I'd settle for no split ends and a part that stays put.

  • Forget the hair, I would take Selma's boobs. Every girl needs a good set of those...I guess every guy does too!

  • you know what? all of those women have extensions clipped in everywhere throughout their hair. so THEY don't even have that hair.

what i want is their stylists.

  • Good points, ladies. I'll take the rack AND the stylists. Waistlines, too.

  • jessica woods!! here is what my comment was going to be, no joke: the hair is great, but i will just settle for selmas boobs!
oh well, i will stand by my not-so-exciting-anymore comment.

  • boobs, smoobs! They are just heavy fat that hurt your back! Good hair, that's a girls crowning glory! I would LOVE to be able to have long cury girly-girl hair that I could stand to wear down! I always start my day with my hair down and five to fifteen minutes into it... messy pony-tail hair! Not so great on a 26 year old. Makes me look like I am still trying to live in highschool.

Now that waist line comment. Give me two of those. Or wait... maybe someone could just take my second that I've aquired over the past five years. Just one nice and small waistline. That'll do me just fine!

  • Tara, I guess great minds think alike. (You should have seen some of the boobilicious photos I DIDN'T use! Or maybe you shouldn't.)

Kara, I always envied your hair--it's so healthy and it has so much body! Actually, your hair reminds me of Brooke Shields' hair. If you had her stylist, you'd be the one in this Top 8 list. As for waistlines, when yours hits 40 inches (like mine right now), then you can worry. =)

  • pregnant bellies dont count gina!!!

By Blogger Lisa, at 5:27 PM

  • Yeah Gina mine (waist line)gained 25 inches while I was prego...no joke!

By Blogger Jess, at 11:43 PM

  • awe, thanks Gina! I bet my overly bushy eyebrows remind you of Brooke too! When ever I go to get them waxed (like the 3 times I have) they always ask me to go really thin, and I say NO! They are my trade mark... people call me Brooke!

I guess the grass is always greener. Suz I'g give some one my boobs for teir waist line! Anyone? Anyone?

By Blogger Kara Deal, at 12:11 AM

  • Kara, you're a gorgeous babe and you don't need to trade anything with anyone.

Yeah, yeah, I know pregnant bellies don't count. But I'd all but lost my waistline before I got knocked up. I've gained about 8 inches in my belly so far, but being pregnant has evidently jumpstarted my metabolism, because I'm currently 3-5 pounds lighter than I was before I got pregnant. Which would be understandable if I'd had bad morning sickness, but I didn't. So now I'm halfway to my due date and I haven't even gotten back to my starting weight! It's weird, but the doctor's not worried, since the munchkin is growing the way he/she is supposed to, and I certainly had plenty of pounds to spare. Believe me, I'm not complaining--this just means I won't have to work so hard to lose the baby weight.

  • Maybe I should've skipped this entry ~ seeing all the gorgeous hair has me envious! Of course ANY hair past boy-length makes this girl envious right now! I was hoping my hair would come back black & slightly curly. Ummm nope. My hair stylist (God) seem to think I needed thicker hair a little lighter brown than I had before with even lighter brown 'highlights'. Which I guess is kinda funny cause' I tried that once & ended up with red highlights b/c of how dark my hair was. It was not one of my better style decisions. Anyway, on the Selma thing, her rack wouldn't look nearly as good if she didn't have the waistline to show it off. And I can't believe you're already half way through your pregnancy! Congrats on that & not being very sick, what a lucky lady you are! Love you & sorry to hear about your computer!

  • Thanks,Wendy! And you look like an adorable little pixie (not a frat boy) with your hair short like it is. If you have to have short hair, at least you have the face for it. And it's going to grow back fast and gorgeous. If it's not the color you want when it's done growing in, that's what L'oreal is for!

  • And I was expecting to see Laura Mansfield's picture at the top of your list. Short or long, it's always amazing.

Don't blame me that you took the Frost genes for string-straight hair when you had the choice.

    Love you!

  • Well, Sparky, I didn't find any pictures of Lara on the Internet. She's probably happy about that. But she does have great hair. It's a good thing I love her so much, or I'd have to hate her.

As for my genetics--Clearly, I did not make good decisions as an embryo.

  • Wow! Look at all the comments that a post about hair sparked! All my comments have been taken by others, so I will just have to say that I would like to have Catherine Zeta-Jones' face. Man, she's pretty!

By Blogger RoniZee, at 11:04 AM

  • I agree, Roni. She looks like one of the super-glam stars from the 40s.

If I could have her face and hair and Salma's bod, that would rock. But then, I'd probably ruin the hot bod in 1 month of no exercise and bad eating habits. So that trade shouldn't be wasted on me.
